Sharpening up school uniform
Following consultation in 2012 with parents, parent voice and students the small changes to our school uniform agreed upon by Governors come into full force from September 2013 – this gave parents a full 12 month transition period from September 2012 before full implementation. Some key changes are:
- The requirement for any knitwear (jumper, cardigan, tanktop) to be school knitwear only come into force i.e. if your child should wish to wear an item of knitwear it must now be one with the school logo embroidered upon it, purchased through one of the three school uniform providers.
- The full implementation of the new PE kit also comes into force as does ensuring that your child is wearing a navy blazer (as has always been the case) and not black.
For further details please follow the link below for the full uniform list – where it states optional these are items of uniform that you can choose whether your child has or not but nothing else other than these can be worn in their replacement e.g. school hoody, reversible football/rugby shirt, jumper.
We listened to parent voice and have now procured three suppliers for uniform items giving parents the choice of where to purchase from. Please follow the link for more details on our suppliers.
